Our neighbours
Why not stay for a few days in Mannum and use as a base camp to experience our many neighbours. The Barossa valley is only 50 minutes away or take a leisurely 2 hour drive and visit the historic port of Morgan with their amazing river and rail precinct. On the way, stopover at the Big Bend lookout and the see the mesmerising Big Bend Cliffs, the largest bend on the Murray River, it is breathtaking!
Feed the giraffes at Monarto Zoo on the way to Mannum or travel via the Adelaide Hills through Palmer and Tungkillo and see the ancient granite rock formations where you will see 'Bear Rock' our own polar bear standing stall and proud overlooking the extensive river plains near Palmer...watch out for the frog and elephant too!
The Murray River's beauty at Mannum will hypnotise you - once you have been you will always come back.
