Australian hero to inspire students in regional SA

Eddie Woo is a maths dynamo

Eddie Woo is the head mathematics teacher at Cherrybrook Technology High School in Sydney.  He has been teaching maths for more than 10 years.` In 2018, Eddie was named Australia's Local Hero of the Year and was recognised as one of the top ten teachers in the world.

From September 16 - 18, more than 3000 students from up to 10 schools across the Riverland and Murraylands will be inspired by Eddie and his wonderful world of maths.

Eddie Woo is a dynamo.  He has switched on many thousands of people to maths and its application. He is the author of "Woo's Wonderful World of Maths"

Eddie's trip is an initiative of Regional Development Australia Murraylands and Riverland 
(RDAMR) and the Australia Day Council of South Australia.

Eddie will deliver two presentations that are open to the general public.
Monday 16th Septmeber - 6.30pm at Mannum Leisure Centre
